Holiday décor at The Carlyle

It’s all in the details this year: You may have noticed this Season’s Holiday décor all around The Carlyle!

From the wreath hanging in our Salon to the trimmings in the lobby, all are crafted from a handwritten letter from Santa that was “ghostwritten” by Samuel Clemens (aka Mark Twain) to his daughter. Samuel Clemens was a frequent guest of The Carlyle, and his charming message (applied to the decorations created by London-based McQueens Flowers) adds to the spirit of the Season.
