What is a favorite restaurant or dish you can’t stop thinking about?

At Borgo (in NYC), I love the asparagus, fresh peas and herbs - with a deep fried runny egg on top! Cherry viniagrette from my friend, Chef Jordan.

What is something you’ve added to your wellness routine for summer?

First thing in the morning: a face plunge in a bucket full of ice! Three times! Followed by a breathing technique: inhaling for a count of 4, pause for 3 counts, exhale 8 counts, and do it 3 times. I also like to incorporate 15 minutes of invigorating yoga, 15 minutes of rowing, 15 minutes of lifting and a 10 minute cool-down stretch.

Do you have a simple summer recipe that you are making on repeat?

Yes, just a simple sea scallops ceviche: Leave the scallops in the freezer for 10 minutes, then slice them very thinly. Lay them on a plate. Harissa, olive oil, lime and lemon juice, sliced cherry tomatoes, jalapeño, chopped cilantro and salt & pepper. Cover and leave in the fridge. Eat with corn chips!

  • One ounce of White Lillet

Stir, with lots of ice. Then drain in a cocktail glass with a big ice cube, lemon zest, and drink with joy!
