Our Salon is looking for experienced and detail oriented assistants to join our team!

These are mentorship positions: You will be learning from globally-recognized Master Stylist Yves Durif and his talented team of Stylists and Colorists, and we are a teaching Salon. We are offering a competitive hourly rate (between $15-$20/hr.) which will be determined based on experience.

COLOR ASSISTANT:

REQUIREMENTS:

  • licensing from a cosmetology school;

  • at least six months of salon experience;

  • a passion for hair color;

  • a desire to always keep learning;

  • the ability to be proactive and work in a confident manner;

  • excellent interpersonal and time management skills;

  • a creative eye for color!

DUTIES INCLUDE (BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO):

  • Supporting the Colorists in the salon;

  • Attending to clients and basic customer service tasks;

  • Mixing color/lightener/glaze;

  • Shampooing, applying deep conditioning treatments and glazes;

  • General organizational and cleaning tasks to help keep the Color Lab running smoothly.
